Hi, my name is Jacob Cannell, and I'm 20 years old.
I live in Warrington with my Mum and Dad, and my dog - a fluffy cockapoo called Arthur.

I have a condition called Cerebral Palsy, which affects most of the things I can do, and it means that I rely on a wheelchair to get me about.

My Story

I have always had a love of plants, flowers, vegetables, shrubs...basically anything that grows, and I also love crafts and making things.

In early 2020, I was part way through my 6th Form college course - when the Covid pandemic hit.

This meant, like everybody else, I was stuck at home wondering what to do with my days.

As lockdown progressed, and the weather got nicer...I thought I'd spend some time in and around the garden - which turned out to be a real eye-opener!

It wasn't long before I had a little patch of seedlings and plants growing.

I started up-cycling household items to make different individual things - that tie in with my love of gardening and crafting!

My Mum and Dad helped me a lot - my mum is really creative and my Dad is pretty handy with DIY and stuff...

...and before long I was advertising on facebook and instagram.

Wow - it was amazing.

It started with loads of my friends ordering my "makes," and soon the word spread and I started getting orders in.

So, I decided to start my own tiny little business doing something that I am very passionate about!
